Inspriation For “Critique”

This painting is an expression of what I have felt when I showed my art to teachers and others to view. I felt as though I couldn’t disconnect my heart from art or music. When showing my art I was revealing a part of me. At times it’s a scary thing, while other times it didn’t bother me to be transparent. There was a time when I felt like no one accepted my art so, they were rejecting a part of my heart. An artist has the choice to reveal as much of their heart as they desire in their work.
