Letting Go Stings

Inspiration For “Letting Go Stings”

Glass and metal are such a fragile and heavy combination. Even though both are really strong mediums, each has a weak point which makes them fragile.  “Letting Go Stings” represents me and having to make the decision to let go.  The welded bolts coming from the translucent green glass shows the state in which I am in. I am vulnerable and have accepted who and where I am.  Being translucent shows that it doesn’t matter if you see what’s happening inside.  Some could say the bolts are a symbol of what weighs you down, but I see it as what is inside of me. I have accepted that it is all apart of me and that letting go will be a continuous process. It’s a choice. A beautiful process or journey thrusting forward.
